Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Sitemap?
An XML file listing all your blog posts so Google can discover and index them faster. Without it, some posts may never appear in search results.
Why do I need this for Blogger specifically?
Blogger's built-in sitemap only shows the 26 most recent posts. Using the atom.xml feed gives Google access to all your content, including older posts.
Why does GSC show an error after submitting?
Because atom.xml is a feed, not a standard XML sitemap. GSC flags it, but Google's crawler still reads and indexes it correctly. This is a known Blogger limitation — not a problem on your end.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Nothing is sent to any server. Everything is generated 100% locally in your browser. We never see your blog URL.
